A group of Vemma YPR leaders recently visited UMOM in Phoenix, Arizona to help paint the shelter’s family dining room. Fueled by Verve, these young entrepreneurs helped make a difference at Arizona’s largest family homeless shelter by refreshing the space with a new coat of paint. Coach Erics Clark: Helping People Achieve Their Dreams
While talking with Vemma Diamond Brand Partner Erics Clark, one central idea runs through his daily life and actions: he loves to help other people shine. “I love helping other people live their dreams,” he says. “I teach young kids things I didn’t learn until I was training with the NFL. I develop athletes in my sports business and leaders with Vemma.” A former college and pro football player, Erics contracted a nearly fatal case of pneumonia in his early twenties that left him alive, but 40 pounds lighter. After that and a few injuries, he abandoned his football career and started his own athletic training business for young athletes, which now offers the premier youth sports camps in Orange County. “I don’t have an ego. Although Erics is in the same age range as his YPR team, he’s quick to point out that he runs his business a bit differently. “As a father of two, I can’t go to late-night meetings at the drop of a hat. If I tried to run my business like some of the YPR brand partners do, I’d never see my wife and kids,” he laughs. However, Erics insists that you can learn something from everybody, even if you don’t do things exactly their way. The YPR group is well known for their quick action, so he incorporates this trait into his business. “Within 24 hours of joining, I do a training call with every new Brand Partner. And if a meeting comes up, and I can’t go in person, we do it by Skype. I encourage people to ask me questions. I think a common mistake for new people is that they hesitate to ask questions. Hitting it Hard, Keeping it Simple
There’s a frenzy of Vemma activity at Michigan State University, and Luke Hessler is right in the middle of it. Luke is a Vemma Star Executive Brand Partner, and as a full-time college student, he balances his Vemma business with classes in International Business and a full social calendar that includes weekly Verve parties.
Daily meetings put interested college students into instant contact with experienced Brand Partners. “Once you see someone who can do it — someone who’s really taking full advantage of the Vemma opportunity — then you see that you can do it too,” Luke explains. “I was first approached by my neighbor’s older brother, but I said no at first, since he was new to the business at the time and I didn’t see how you could really make money in Vemma. College kids are lucky — since they’re not established into a career, they know a lot of people and have the time to build a business while they’re in school.”
Luke says most college students start to realize how bad the job market is by their junior year or so. “Some don’t see it until their senior year. At that point, they see the logic in doing something on the side to develop a residual income. They know they may be part of that group that can’t find a job after graduation. I think with Vemma, we’re also able to help raise awareness of what the reality is for the job market for young people.”

From Couch Coach to Super Mom in Skinny Jeans
Since Marla was already a Vemma product devotee, she put her skepticism of diet products from the past aside, and decided to give the Vemma Bod•ē 12-Week Transformation Plan a try. “BK is amazing.
